How much should defense spending be cut?

i believe by about half because the United States already spends more than any other nation on planet earth COMBINED on defense per year. Instead of spending tax payer dollars on health care, education, housing, etc it is spent on bombs, tanks, ak47s, and planes to make the pentagon, the arms industries and defense contractors billions of dollars. And Has Barrack Obama mentioned that he wants to cut military spending?

If you think we spend our defense budget on AK-47's then you should probably do a little research before you start re-writing the budget for us. Have you ever heard of an F-22?

I like Clinton but he cut the defense budget and now all we have is outdated equipment, we have got to keep up our defense weapons in case we are invaded.  We can't wait until they're in our back yard to think about what we should have done.

our main problem is our weapons are too expensive a b-2 bomber comes in at 2.7 billion and a f-22 fighter weighs in at 2 billion.  The Russians on the other hand only pay 36 million for one of their SU-34s  Something is definitely wrong with that picture
