How much should i ask

I am gettin ready to sell my 1996 Geo Prizm. It has 123000 on it and everything on the car works and the body has some fading in the paint on the roof but no rust. I was looking at craigslist and there were car older then mine with more miles for $3000. I need it to sell so i can fix our other car. Of course it gets like 30 miles to the gallon and with gas prices the way they are this is what people are looking for. I was thinkin about $1200 is this too much or too less..im lost lol

for 1200, thats great. someone will definitely snatch it up.

if you want 1200 and the car looks good and drives well then ask a bit more like 2000 and be prepared to come down some for a good prospect.  Try to size up your prospective buyer...some people want to test drive just for fun.
