  1. It depends on if you are including meals, supply your on diapers, potty training, You need to consider all of this in your price. Most day-cares charge 150.00 a week. If you are in it for extra money or are you in it to help people out? Good luck !!

  2. The best thing to do is scan newspaper advertisements, the job/employment section, for nanny or homecare positions. You could also look online and see how much nannies get per hour. Compare each job for how many hrs are to be worked in a day, how many children there are to care for, if transportation is money included (driving children here and there) etc. Take into account that you'll also have to feed these children, plan activities for them, make their day seem fun, not drag on. When you find the cheapest price and the most expensive, you could charge mid range (depending on what you will offer children in your care).

  3. I would try to research the community I live in and then go middle of the road. Try checking newspaper ads and even calling some of the day cares to get an idea what they charge in a preschool/day care school. Ask friends where they take their children and ask if they would mind sharing information on cost and what there children receive each day. Good luck!

  4. I thinking about doing this in the fall. I am considering $90 to 100.00 per week. I am also going to ask that they parents pack a lunch and a snack for the child. That way they are eating foods that the parents approve, provide, etc.

I only want to keep 2 or 3 kids.

  5. Depends on where you live and what you offer. $100 a week is reasonable per child.

  6. maybe like fifty dollars a month per kid or like a eighty as long as they have fun and give their parents good feedback on "school" the parents will pay good money or you could charge higher as long as its below 300

  7. kind of depends on where you live - check out the ads in the paper and give them a call and see what they are charging -then you can be comparable and competitive.

  8. Depends on the accessibility of your house and the features of this home daycare.

  9. i think you should charge $5.00 an hour.  That's how much my mom charges anyways, she has around 7 kids per day for around 8hours each day.

  10. Find out what other daycares are charging for their services per child.  In my area, prices are from 85 to 100 dollars a week.

Parents also must pay that amount every week (whether their child attends or stays out sick) because a daycare can only have a certain number of children per worker.  If a baby is sick and can't come to daycare for a week, the parent is still responsible for the money because they are taking up another spot of a paying customer.  Some daycares give parents 5 "free" days a year where the child can miss and the parent doesn't have to pay.  But that would be up to you.

  11. Depends where you live. In California we pay about $800- $1000. a month. It sounds like a lot but it breaks down to $5.00 - 7.00 an hour. That's not alot!

  12. It depends on your area.  Find out what your State child care reimbursement is for children that qualify and that will give you a ball park range.

In our area, State will reimburse $2.00/hr.  I charge $2.50/hr per child.

  13. u should be charging about   10-15 dollars a hour it seems alot but it's not
