  1. it just depends on how many hours

    2 summers ago i did that  6am to 4pm 2 girls

i took them to  the park, played with and  got them lunch

i got paid 100 a week sometimes more

so for you maybe like  70 -80

  2. Probably like $70 that would be like $10 per day I guess that sound kinda fair.

  3. well a fair rate would be $10 an hour. But depending on what your asked to do in that time and what other activities your asked to do it may be more or less. You could go to them and say that your rate would be $10 but your willing to negotiation.

  4. 150 a week

  5. $10 a day or $20 a day is slave labour - seriously.  The only way to do it with flexible hours is to charge an hourly rate.  The going rate in Australia is between $10 per hour up to $25 if you're an adult and have a qualification (like nursing, teaching, child care etc). At 17 you should be charging at least $10 per hour so that's $80 a day for an 8 hour day.  Don't rip yourself off! Talk to other parents who have babysitters and try to find people your age who do babysitting and compare. You might also find rates up on notice boards, in the local paper, on the internet etc.

  6. Where I live, the average for a 8 hr day is $20 per day but on the days you only have her  4 hrs do $10

  7. are people serious with $10 a day! please you need to either decide on a rate per week based on a certain amount of hours or tell them you need to do it hourly and however many hours a day you work is what you get paid for $10 an hour is how much people pay for a babysitter for 1 child sometimes. the economy is down people and costs have risen you need to keep that in mind and the gas your going to have to use to get to and from the job. if the people need you that badly than they will work with your money request besides its their child and their child should come first and if they have to hire you to begin with they should do it at a normal rate! and your age also has something to do with it your not a 14 year old your more mature and could deal with situation better. hope this helps and PLEASE DO NOT LISTEN TO PEOPLE THAT SAY $10 a day
