How much should i charge (u.k) to collect a child from school and look after him for 1hr 30mins?

im a new childminder and am a little unsure how much i should charge i was thinking about £7.50 per day???

Yeah i think your right, between £7 - £8 sounds good.

Social Services should be able to tell you about average charges in your area - like most things, London area is more expensive.  Bristol is pretty high, North of England cheaper.

Contact the Social Worker who did your Registration.

£7.50 sounds about right!! childminders in our area charge about £3.50 a hour (good rate) .

if you are registered through surestart then you can ask what the rate is for the area you live in or ask to be given a list of local childminders and then you can contact them to find out what they charge . generally all childminders charge the same for the area they live in.
