I own a small accountancy firm with only 3 staff. I currently use adwords but I am now considering optimisation. At the moment my webpage is about page 100 of google if you do a search. What price range will I be looking at?

  1. Pay per performance. Offer the SEO consultant a bonus for gaining a specific position or goal. This will make them spend more time on your website and cost you less, charge whatever you can really afford to gain that ranking and you will probably get a consultant trying to break into the industry that is willing to work for less.

  2. You should be able to find someone to outsource SEO or search engine marketing to for less than $2000.

I know SEOMoz hosts a list of SEO consultants, but most probably charge upwards of $4,000.

Its all about how many phrases you need to target and how competitive your market is (are you in New York, LA ,or Iowa)

I do SEO and content work for Raven SEO and do work through Creative Fusion Media.  I charge very reasonable rates.  I would love to see your website and chat about your needs.

  3. Several good posts have crossed my screen lately
