  1. If you are alone:

    150-200 for groceries

      30-40 electric

    50-cell phone

    80-cable and internet

hopefully water and heat is included

and whatever else you spend in a week on things that make life interesting. At least 300 a week should squeak you by. Maybe you have some saved up?

  2. Rent is usually at least half or your expenses a month, isn't it?

So you should be making at least 1,500 a month but that's like bare minimum I would say. Making like 2,000-2,500 a month would make it alot easier on yourself.

  3. They usually say to budget 1/4 of your monthly salary for rent, so you should take home $3,000/month or .$36,000/year, after taxes.

  4. I would say that your rent should be no more than 30% of your income so at $750 per month you should be making around $2500 per month

  5. Anything over about 2k would cover your expenses if you weren't materialistic. Anything over 3k a month, you'd be sitting pretty.(provided you have no debt, creditcards, loans; excluding possible car of course ect.)

  6. you should be making at least 2,500 a month to cover rent and utilities
