contractors price to sand cleanup stain and reseal is $2-$4 per square foot.

be careful someone that doesn't know what they are doing can destroy your floor quick. that $4.00 a square foot can go to $20 a square foot to have somebody take up damaged flooring and replace with new then stain and refinish.

The going rate is around $2/ft.  Be sure the contactor is licensed.
