  1. Run the 2 miles, even if you have to walk the end. Also remember you can do aerobics, biking, etc. to help you get back in shape.

  2. Just run till your limit that's how i get faster.

  3. just go out there and do as much as you can.  try a mile for 3 days and then increase it to a mile and half the next three days.

or just go out there and run for 10 minutes. don't even worry about mileage. and then add 30 sec or a minute each day. good luck

  4. Start at 1/2 a mile and move up by fourths when you think you are ready.

  5. I'd run at least 3 miles a day and work yourself up, if you cant finish it, finish it as a walk

  6. I always found riding a bike on a low gear (for a longer distance then you would run) or swiming to be the best way to get back into running. Easier on the joints too.

Or when your running have certain spots where you can jog/walk fast. Still do your 2 miles but have little breather spots. As you progress skip a breather spot and keep going. Eventually you should be able to skip all your spots and run the entire 2 miles. Great way to keep track of your progress.
