How much should i sell my 18ft 1977 bass boat for?

How much should i sell my 18ft 1977 bass boat with 90hp motor and trailer? its needs a little cosmetic work but the hull is in good shape. the motor is perfect and the trailer is in good shape.

I sold mine for $900, but I only had a 15 horse and trailor.  Mine was  a bit newer than yours, but not by much.  Try $1500-2000 and if it doesn't go in the first week or so, lower the price.  Best selling time is Spring when everyone is looking for a "bass boat".

Patrick, in 1969 I bought a 18' fleetwing boat, 85 Evinrude and gal trailer. Used heavily for 4 years at Charleston,SC. Moved to Charleston, WV and started back in college. Tried to sell boat by telling friends about it, and no interest at all. This was in 1975 and I went to a dealer and saw that new boats similar to what I had were $10-12,000 new. I had paid $2810 for mine new. I advertised in the newspaper for $4500 and sold it in 2 days for $4000.

The value of a thing is what the thing will bring.

whats it worth to you, i would ask 2500 but you can get more or less,depends on where you live, do you live by a lake than its worth more   and clean it up if i was looking for a boat and saw this dirty boat i would passs but if its clean than  yes i would check it out
