My pool is leaking. I lose a few inches of water a day, and my pool guy says i shouldn't lost more than an inch-and-a-half or so a week. There's no obvious bubbling or anything else visible, but clearly something's amiss.

  1. the very 1st thing i would check and the cheapest is if you have a de filter and it has a multiport valve or a push pull valve it could be leaking water out the back wash pipe and  in to the drain ! you can cut the back wash pipe and see if   there is water comming out when  the pump is on.after you cut it and check you can couple it back together

  2. your leak could be in any of the folowing places:the skimmer(s)the pool light the bottom drain or in the deck.you need to look for a pool company that does leak detection services in your area. most charge 500.00 but that is to find and repair it plus put everything back
