How much should it cost to have two large pine trees cut down and removed from my front yard?

we live in the midlands and have had a eucalyptus tree that was 70 feet high and a beech tree that 60 feet high and the guy from a local garden service charged 120 pounds for each tree.

As a registered forester, I can tell you that it is strictly tied to the difficulty of the removal of the trees.  For example, if the trees are near a power line or house, they are going to be more expensive.  My advice would be to get at least two quotes.  Remember as well, these people that remove the trees are probably going to take the trees that they cut down to the local lumber mill and make money that way as well.
