How much should labor cost for painting a 1650sf house interior including extensive patching of cracks?

Costs on a job are very tricky, because they will change from contractor to contractor, one neighborhood to another, let alone state to state or country to country.  This is a global forum, so currency numbers will be affected and the numbers will be meaningless.  The measurement is in square feet, so I will assume that you are in US or Canada.  It will likely be a bit more in Manhattan than in rural Wyoming, or with an under-employed painter rather than a busy contractor.  (Got any Starving Student type painters there?)

So the short answer is, Don't waste your time guessing with some disinterested posters here, and ASK A PAINTER IN YOUR TOWN!
