  1. Well, this may not help much, but it all depends on how good/experienced the coach is and how ling he teaches you.

  2. It depends on how good the coach is. If  you're really serious about playing tennis you wouldn't want to get someone that just uses a machine for you to practice on. The coach should know strategies for you to win a game.

  3. Well it depends who your taking lessons from. A fairly high price is about 150 but it can be also a fair price. Depending on who your coach is. This is how much lessons are for me. that's per week. so you know do some research around to find out how much lessons are locally in your area. Compare maybe find out a bit about each coach. Hope this helps!

  4. I take lessons from a retired professional and pay him $40 a week. That's because I know him well though. It depends... some charge WAY too much (like $150 an hour), but that's because they want to filter out bad/low-class players. It really depends on what you can spend. If you think your money is well spent by paying a lot to a good coach go ahead, but in my mind mostly all coaches do a good job- even the ones that charge less.

  5. i would say how much a coach chargers depends on a few factors.

firstly.........no matter how good the coach is, if you dont like him/her, then price is no more a factor rite?

no 2: no matter how good a player the coach is, if he cant teach you how to play, then price is no longer a factor rite?

no 3: you may think a coach which talks a lot and try to correct you on every  single shot is a good coach rite? yes...........he may sound impressive to all tat is listening. but that does not make him a good coach.

you must understand.........every player is different. everyone comes with their own natural feel and natural talent. a good and experienced coach must understand that.

    true.......basics are basics.

but a coach must work around the players natural feel.

that is an important aspect when u decide if he/she is a good coach.

a good coach must also have good people skills. can communicate with you  and his/her instructions must be clear and you must be able to understand him/her.

ive work with many players over the years. so in a way, i kinda know what im talking about.

the most important thing when u want to start playing tennis and look for a coach...........tennis must be fun!

    that should be vital.

    so have fun!!!!
