  1. I would say, depending on your experience, your relationship with the family (i.e. if you are their cousin, aunt, etc. you can give them a discount), you should charge them the going rate of babysitting.  You can either charge $5 per child, per hour, which will equal $450 per week, or you can charge them a flat fee of whatever you would like... $300-400 an hour sounds reasonable.  It may sound like a lot to some people, and you need to make it worth the parents income (i.e. if they are making $300 in a week, it would not be worth it for them to pay you $300).  A 45 hour work week, watching children -especially as active as a 5 year old and a 13 month old- is going to be a lot of work for you.  They need to make it worth your while.

  2. I am a nanny..i work 3 days a week watching 2 boys ages 2 and 1 and i make 600 every two weeks....the going rate for a sitter right now is 10 an hour and 3 dollars each additional child...if they cant afford that then i would suggest a day care..where they may charge 3-6 an hour to not fully watch the kids....

  3. 10 dollars an hour

  4. I am guessing that they are both part of the same family, If I'm correct, you should charge no less than 12 dollars an hour for nine consecutive hours of the day. I get paid 12 dollars an hour for sitting one 5 year old for 3 hours a day and there is no way you should suffice for less. If you can I'd even up the price to 14, look at the age difference, thats key. One is in school hopefully, and then the baby. Two different ball games  on the same field. Point is... Don't ever fall short of yourself.

  5. One hundred and forty dollars (USD) per week providing the sitting takes place at the children's home. Otherwise if at your place charge $160.00 per week. The fee does not include baby needs material and toys the parents must provide those things also to include pull-ups and diapers. If you must provide everything including laundry of soiled clothes then charge $215.00 per week. Cash only !!!
