  1. All kids (up to age 15) need at least 8 and a half hours of sleep. Trust me, this was determined by scientists.

  2. about 10. they need that much sleep so their bodies can give them the energy they need to make it through the day.

  3. Enough to feel rested in the morning.  If the child is tired, he needs more.  If he wakes up early and is rested, he might be able to go to bed later.

Don't go by statistics.  Go by the individual's needs.

  4. 10 hours when your 13 youll oly need 8 or try out a different nmber evry night and sleep as long as it suits you best

  5. I wish my 11 year old would sleep in more than he does.  Infact, I wish all my kids did!  I wish the alarm would wake me up, or something else besides kids.

If they are sleeping too much, it shouldn't be a bother...unless they have an appt.

If they aren't sleeping enough, and going back to sleep mid-morning - then that was me as an 11 yr. old.

  6. well an 11 year old should have 9-10 hours or at least 8. The younger someone is, the more sleep they need because younger people are usually more active than adults.

  7. A 9 year old needs at least 8-9 hours because their body is still growing, so they need energy.

  8. ten hours, growing bodies

  9. 8+ hours of sleep . As you get younger you will need more sleep . You need this becasue your body is still growing .

  10. That depends upon the child.  As long as the child gets enough sleep to be well rested when he/she awakes that is enough.  My oldest (11) goes to bed at about 10:00pm and is up at 6:00am to get ready for school without problems.
