  1. My baby is almost 11 months and has an hour nap after breakfast, another 2 after lunch, and after dinner he has a bath and I put him to sleep at seven or eight and he sleeps all night.

  2. My 6 month old sleeps about 10 hours at night and usually about 4 hours total during the day.  I don't really think it seems like you baby is sleeping to much.  He just maybe needs a little more sleep than other babies.  And a bunch of short naps makes it seem like he sleeps a lot.

  3. i remember around that time that was what my son was doing, he would have several little "nap-lets" throughout the day, this continued until i finally got him to take longer naps in his crib, he's 13 months now an still has 2 naps a day 1.5-3 hours each

  4. At this age there's no such thing as sleeping too much, unless you can't wake them up!!! My son when he was five months used to get up at six like yours, play until 9, have an hours sleep, wake up and have something to eat, play, then sleep at 1 for about two hours, then wake up for his play and feed and then bath then wouldn't go to sleep agian until 7, just like yours. But your baby is doing what it needs. Just make sure it gets plenty of stimulation by playing and that he's not sleeping because he's bored!!

  5. My 10 month old sleep 7pm to 8am and then usually goes back after her lunch around half 12 til around half 2 to 3ish.

At 5 months she was doing roughly what your little man is, 7-7 and then every 2-2.5 hours would go down for around 45min to an hour so judging by lil lady I don't think so. She's perfectly happy and healthy.

At the end of the day, if he's healthy and happy and needs his sleep then he's fine, he needs good sleep to help him grow.

If you get too concerned speak to your GP or midwife.

  6. my baby girl is 11 months, and doesnt sleep enough.lol. she sleeps about an hour maybe an hour and a half tops during the day

  7. Nope, not at all. At this age, when they are not eating they should be sleeping...LOL. Honestly, sounds like he is doing good.

  8. totally normal. as long as he's still breathing and feeding, he should be fine
