My boyfriend and I have completely opposite tastes when it comes to soda -- I don't drink it at all, because I don't like carbonated drinks. He can drink a 12 pack in two days. And he drinks it every day. He's a soda-maniac. I've told him time and time again that drinking that much soda CANNOT be good for you, even though his metabolism is way too fast for him to ever worry about gaining weight from it (he's 6'2 and 140 lbs!!). But really. I worry about it. How can I talk some sense into him? I don't want to ban soda from his life forever, because that would be weird and controlling, but isn't there any way that I can convince him that soda just really isn't that good? And that it's bad for your teeth? And that it's chockful of sugar and causes diabetes? And that the reason why he gets so many headaches is because he's freakin' addicted to caffeine?
