To be honest, I am not a very forgiving person but I should probably have for space to be forgiving.

To do what you can to make amends to someone you've wronged is a necessity for mental and emotional peace.  to ignore that, or shrink from it, is to insure a diminished life; we wrong ourselves with much justification.

We need to forgive too.  But we can't change someone else.  Dostoyevsky said we should look at an evil person as if we could have been partly responsible.  For example, the west's cruelty to Germany following World War I (as if they were soley to blame) was partly responsible for the degradation in which Hitler felt himself a hero.

A dangerous human, like a dangerous animal, needs to be neutralized however.  Turning a murder loose is not forgiveness.

If you are missing the mark in loving anyone else, it is because you are not being forgiving. When we can love everyone, we will need not be here any more. This is totally possible, it will come to all, and we are given all the space we need to do it.

in the bible there is an actual number that God will forgive your sins. i don't know the number but i know that it is around a few million. so technically yes there is a limit to forgiveness.
