  1. Depending on how much people are going to play.  I would say about 17 feet by 17 feet.  Good luck

  2. The length of your cue plus free space for movement.    By that i mean take your cue from the cush back full length and add some for movement back and forwards any less is to cramped.

  3. I've felt that you need about 8 feet on every side at least, because you have to account for the cue stick, and people trying to get by on occasion.

  4. depends on what kind of pool table.  Is it a bar table?  or a league table?

bar table:  need at least 16'x16'

    league: 20'x20'

it may seem like a lot of room, but you need room for the table plus walking room, and easement for the cues without knocking into someone

  5. measure the room then go out and see if a table will fit.

  6. you need five feet all the away around , a regulation cue is 57 inches , so five feet gives you enough room

  7. the length of the stick as a full perimeter around the table.

meaning the nearest wall or object should not be within the length of the stick from the edge of the table to the item.

  8. Add ten feet to the dimensions of the table , example , table is 4 x 8 , then the room would have to be 14 x 18. This gives you 5 feet of room all the way around the table. These are minimum measurements. For real comfort you will need an even bigger room.

  9. a pool stick length all around the table so those tight shots aren't so tight..wish i had smile faces to show humor. that is the rule i've

used and it's a great one if your able..

  10. The length of a cue stick from the edge of the table to the wall. When using the stick and bringing it back when making a shot, you do not want it to hit the wall.

  11. a table is 4 x 8 figure 42 to 48 inches clearance around it or 12'x16' open area is good!
