Dear futbolista1o, i love spanish and am aquiring it as my second lanugae, i would think you need to use the spanish you learn in the real world to have the best results, for example, use the spanish you learned and talke to spanish peaople in spanish at wal-mart. using the spanish u learn will help you be able to use it in the real world.   3. Hi.  Yes.  I think the basics and a little more is useful.  In most tourist places people speak English and definitely at most hotels.  You won't have a problem.  People who don't speak a word go, so don't worry and enjoy.  Hope this helps.

    if you are just visiting don't worry, many people at hotels and restorants speak english, otherwise you'll learn during your time there.

  8. I'm sure if you are going to live in Spain you will learn Spanish quickly. I speak Spanish and I think it's easy to talk but difficult to write. Anyway, remember some regions in Spain speak Galician, Euskara or Catalan too.
