Stag Software Private Limited specialises in methods and tools for software test engineering. It offers an intensive software test-engineering course which lays the foundation on key concepts in testing and ensures that the concepts are practiced.

Objectives of the course: Today there is a demand for skilled testers who have a strong knowledge of test techniques, tools and process knowledge. This course is designed to address the needs of the market and create test practitioners who can independently design, document, and automate tests effectively.

At the end of the course one will be ready to:

* Design and document test cases

* Use defect tracking systems effectively

* Write automated scripts

* Execute test cases as per plan

* Report test results effectively

* One will also be conversant with the testing terminologies, software development life-cycle, and process models, aware of the popular tools available in the market

Pre-requisites: Engineering Degree in Electronics/Electrical/ Electronics and Communication/Electronics & Instrumentation /Computer Science and Engineering/ Computer Engineering. Bachelor/Master�s degree in any discipline with good knowledge of computer applications used in their domain e.g. executives with banking experience, with insurance experience, with ERP experience, CRM experience etc.

Selection process: Short listed applicants will undergo an entrance test, which will comprise of aptitude and analytical sections. The test will be of objective type and the duration will be for sixty minutes. The selection of the candidate for this course will depend on the applicant�s performance in the entrance test.

Course delivery methodology: The course is practitioner-oriented consisting of a healthy balance of theory and practice. In addition to the theory sessions, there will be product demos, case study discussions, problem solving. The course has been optimised for working professionals. The lab sessions may be taken home as homework by the participants or the participant can either use our labs from 1700 hours.

At the end of the six weeks, one will be ready to work in a company as an effective tester.

Course details: The duration of the course is six weeks with discussion classes held between 1830-1945 hours three times a week (Mon, Wed, Fri). The lab sessions may be done at home or at Stag from 1630-1830 (Evening stream).

Morning stream will be held between 8.30 am - 9.45 am and 10 am-12 pm will be the lab sessions .The classes will be held at the Stag facility located at 3529 17th Main, 1st Cross, HAL 2nd Stage, Bangalore 560008.

The fees for this six week course is Rs 11,000 and is payable at the beginning of the course (including 8% service taxes). Payment is to be made by demand draft only in favour of �Stag Software Private Limited� payable at Bangalore.
