  1. thats more than enough

1 pound is equal to 2.5 turkish liras.

  2. Take less; the rates of exchange you get in the UK are less than you get in turkey. When I go to Turkey I only take around £100 worth of Lira, just enough to get the taxi from the airport and then some food shopping. However if you have a bank account with Nationwide then it is worth only taking this card and another (just in case) as it means there are less to lose and as Nationwide do not charge to withdraw you will get even more for your buck.

When I went last about a month ago the average rate on the high street at home was 2.20, on the street in Turkey was 2.35 and at the cash points in Turkey I was getting 2.45.

    Hope this helps.

(Also don’t forget to tell you bank you are going on holiday as they get in a huff and block your card if you don’t).

  3. It is VERY inexpensive in Turkey.  There may be some tourist attractions that aren't cheap but everything else is crazy.  We went a couple of years ago.  Dinner out with drinks for 5 of us was about 20 dollars US.  Our hotel, while not fancy, was in Istanbul in a nice area and was 40 dollars US.  If I were going for a week I would take about 1000.00 max. So in Britsh pounds you have about twice as much as I think you'll need, but better safe than sorry,  You can bring it back with you if you don't spend it all.  Just so you know, there are lots of ATM's (bank machines) in Turkey so you can take money out at a reasonable exchange rate if you don't want to travel with all that cash

  4. good turkey wont mater

  5. If the flight and the hotel are already paid, and if you don't go to restaurant ( since you are self-catering ), so I think that £1000 is probably enough for 2 ( £500 for each of you) for just one week.

  6. i think thats would be enough

  7. is that like $1000?

    well ya i guess

turkey is like the counrty of black market

so its like everything is fake but i get it in high quality which is awesome!

do u plan on seeing sites?

so like it all depends what u plan on doing

so let me know if u have any more questions

    just email me

  8. I think thats a good price.

  9. depends on what kind off holiday you want and howmany excursions i think you will have enough if you dont go mad  have agreat time its fantastic there.

  10. 1000 sterling  equall to 2500 YTL which is  exteremely LOW for  a family to spend a week in marmaris.

If you are gonna stay at a cheap pansion  and will not attend to the night life there  then it should be enough for sure.

Also  We do not need poor tourists who comes every eyar, use our gorgeous  beaches, meditrian see, foods and spend a lil money :P

  11. i dont think thats enough

  12. If you are self catering, that will be more than enough. I would say half of that will allow you a great time in Marmaris. The exchange rate is very good right now too. When you are making purchases do not be afraid to bargain. The merchants actually enjoy it when you do ;). Also, if you take a taxi a little north of Marmaris you can rent your own boat with a captain to take you around all day, and it is much cheaper than in the city. If you want specifics you can email me and I can give you directions. Have a wonderful trip!

  13. How much fun do you want to have?
