How much start-up cash do I need for a wedding consignment/resale store?

please real answers only! the business sites give me guidance, but they don't tell me how much I need.

With not knowing where you live, we can't really answer.

However, do some checking in your city to see what is offered in terms of helping to start out new businesses - and there will be guidelines. In the city where I live, there is a program specifically for women entrepreneurs, and they help with the business plan, etc., which is the most important thing because you would probably need a start-up loan, and the bank is going to need tons of documentation and research from you. For example, have you done a market study and analysis, etc.

It also depends on where you live. If you are talking about a physical store, then you need to check with your local Chamber of Commerce or business association for advice as every area is different as far as costs for rent, utilities, business licenses, etc.

I am going to go on a whim and say AT LEAST $40,000 to $50,000
