Question:

How much stuff can you "carry on" on a plane?

I am an american - going to england. Im only taking a backpack, but I have feeling Im gonna buy enough stuff to fit in another bag, so can I take big plastic bags full of stuff too?? lol

  1. there is a weight limit that applies to your carry-on baggage. check with your airline.

    You still should be able to take one carry-on bag and one "personal item" like a day pack.  If you buy a lot of stuff, you can always mail it home or buy a cheap suitcase there.  We  carry collapsable bags for extra carry-ons coming home.   The airline can get pretty strict about  how much you can carry, so be careful.
