I try to keep both my fridge and freezer full because it is a more efficient use of energy.  According to our electric utility website, it takes the same amount of energy to cool and freeze a full fridge as it does as sparsely inventoried one.  Since I am so cheap I squeak when I walk, I want every nickle of my energy dollar to work for me.  I keep it very well organized so that I can find whatever it is I am seeking instantly.  I use the "birds of a feather flock together" means of keeping together like items so that makes it easier to locate, fruit, veggies, sauces, condiments, leftovers to morph, etc.

Almost empty.  I am about to go on vacation so only the emergency water supply is there.
