I don't know if there's an accurate way to measure sunlight, but I believe it needs to be in a sunny area or just put it in the most sunny area in your house.

They need to be by a sunny window or even outside.  I actually had mine near the sunniest window in my house and it was starting to wilt so I put it outside and it's doing much better.  They also need a lot of water.
