How much sunlight can a parrot have?

i have my cockatoo and macaw outside sometimes and im concerned about how much direct sunliught can they have outside?

I always put my birds in a spot where half their cage is shaded and the other half is in the sun.. and I keep an eye on it through the day since how sunlight is always changing. That way, they have options.

They must always be able to get into the shade in a comfortable location of their cage. Be sure they have plenty of cool, clean water, too! kjl
