  1. Marijuana is very tolerant of different conditions, such as low light, drought, etc., however ideally you would like 16 hours of light and 8 hours of darkness to get the best plant. These are the light settings used by most growers.


  2. most prison cells dont have windows with a lot of sunlight coming in....perhaps grow some petunias instead

As much is it can get!!!!.  Well, that depends on if you're asking how long or how much.  Direct sunlight is best.  And by the way, hemp isn't like marijuana, it IS marijuana.  It's the same d**n plant, just harvested before it flowers.  This misnomer is a leading cause of it being illegal.  Everybody used cannabis but they all hated this new stuff called marijuana; only it was too late when they all found out this stuff the government called marijuana was our beloved cannabis.
