How much???? this is a conure question

how much do you think a sun conure, a fitting sized cage for a conure, and other needs and wants a conure would have would cost? I'm going to get a conure, and not sure how to set up for him/her completely. like where to get a conure or how to make the money (under 15, can't get a job..). please help me!!!!!!!

I got a paper route when I was 12 and that wasn;t that long ago. If you don't have alot of money then a conure is way out the picture. I have an aviary full of breeding zebra finches. They require no physical handling, they breed like crazy ($$) and are really funny to watch. All you need to do is give them seed, water and minerals and a decent warm cage and a few perches and you're set

i own a sunconure. i live in canada. i bought him for $1000.00. The cage should be big enough for him to be able to swing and play in by him self. the cage i got him was $130.00. I got it at a pet store in canada called petcetera. (www.petcetera.ca).

with toys and food and all it should cost you about $1600 to $1700. That is if you want to keep him happy and healthy.

start delivering newspapers and then after a couple paydays go to a pet shop and look for one it will problem cost you 100.00 and then the cage will cost another 60.00 and the food will cost you about 15.00 a month

Your looking at 500-800$. Sun conures are around 300$. A BIG cage is around 400$ or so.

How are you going to get a conure if you dont have a job?

Birds are expensive. Not only to buy but to keep. Birds need at least 10 toys. Three or four need to be kept in their cage at all times. They get bored easy, though, so the toys need to be rotated around weekly. Conures will also SHRED their toys, so they need new toys about once a month. A decent sized, well built conure toy is about 15-25$.
