  1. Steam-bending wood is no big deal, and fun when you know how.

There are many pro boatwrights who wouldn't bite off a project that big, especially on the first time out. The lofting alone could be a massive undertaking.

Consider this project carefully, it is a big one.

  2. Sorry I think your excellent question is a bit like 'How long is a piece of string ?'.

It is also like the old saying, "Picture yourself clinging one handed to a slippery rock, in the middle of the Bay of Biscay, during one of the worst storms ever to have happened. The wind, the horizontal rain, the cold, the waves, and with your other hand you are stuffing great wads of £10 pound notes into the gaping maw of a gigantic shark whilst his mate is chewing at your bottom. You have been there for a minimum of 18 months full time".

It really has to do with what you are aiming for in terms of materials, quality of materials, skills and quality of skills, Fittings and quality of fittings. So on and so on.

There are excellent books produced with drawings, costings and everything else included.

Start your building now by starting your research now.

  3. take approx 24  months, and $375,000.
