  1. I would say 9 to 10 am.  as long as the ship is on time.  It will take about 45 minutes for the ship to  dock, and you leave the ship. At that time of day 30 to 40 minutes to get to airport.   I have traveled this route a couple of times from Miami.  Have fun!! I had a great time!!

  2. If you book your flight for 10 am or later you should be fine.  Just make sure that you ask the cruise ship staff to be one of the first people off the ship.  You also might want to consider taking your baggage off yourself.

  3. Assuming the boat clears customs you could make it there for a 10a flight, but I have been on ships that didnt clear until after 11a. I wont usually book a flight until 1p at the earliest.

  4. 11 am at the earliest to be completely safe if you have non refundable ticket or a ticket that has fare change panalties associated with it.  if you have fully changable ticket / or fully refundable type , then you can book a 10 am ticket.    The ship can take a while to clear customs.  It also has to do with how many other ships are in port that day too.    Some sailings get through it right away and other ones it can be 11 am before the first group of passengers gets off.    do the carry your own baggage at disembarkation.   traffic is another thing that can vary a lot in miami.   i hope this helps.

  5. Push your flight as far back as you can. The boat may get into dock at 7AM but it will take hours to get it cleared for departure and to pass through customs. If you must fly before noon be sure to let the cruise line know and remind them the night before debarking. They will get you off the ship as soon as possible, but just remember they have no control over customs.

  6. props 9ish.

  7. Personally, I wouldn't book anything earlier than Noon.  If you get in sooner, you can always ask at the ticket counter if they'll "bump" you to an earlier flight.

There are sometimes delays in ships getting into port, or customs delays, etc.

BTW - If you want to browse a lot of info about cruising, you can go to CruiseCritic.com, "Boards" and find a ton of info.

    Have a great cruise!

  8. about 10 .... you have to wait until your color is called and disembarking and  going thru customs takes awhile, so 10 or else you will fell rushed!
