  2. In California, burglary second is up to one year in County Jail or 16 months, 2 years or 3 years in State prison.  The second count is handled by 1/3 the middle term.  The middle term is the two years.  So it is 8 months.  Therefore the maximum is 3 years, 8 months state prison.  

    Now that is the max.  With no previous record, it is likely the worst someone would get is 16 months max.  If the amount is not too great, then it is likely a county jail case with probation.

    if you from the us it worst........it might gonna go for a month.......it happen to me in canada i get 14 day + $600 fine.......
