How much time do I need to get between Reagan National & Dulles International Airports?

Is the best way taking a private car, taxi or shuttle? Which is the quickest? My plane lands at 6 pm on a Thurs. evening.

Here's what I found, good luck. As for the time estimates, count on the longest travelling time listed below, as 6:00 pm can be VERY busy at that time (even if the government people aren't around).

Reagan National Airport

The Airports Authority does not provide a dedicated shuttle between the airports. Washington Flyer Taxi provides service between Dulles and Reagan National for an estimated fare of $50 (estimated travel time is 45-60 minutes). SuperShuttle shared ride van provides the same service for about $23 (estimated travel time is 45-75 minutes). Washington Flyer Coach provides service between Dulles and the West Falls Church Metro Station for $10. From there you can connect to Metrorail.
