  1. Alot depends on the weather and the shade or sun. What we do is pour the concrete and level it out then pour the next one. Then go back and float it to perfection. Just don't let it too hard.

  2. It all depends on the weather ,type of concrete etc on a hot day 1 hour and on a cold day yo name it because I have refinished them 24 hours later on a high strength conc only because it was so cold

  3. Your work time will always depend on the climate, humidity, and most importantly, the mixture ratio.  When cement pumps are used, the mix uses more water for ease of pumping and time parameters for finishing.  If you are new to concrete work and doing the mixing yourself, pour and finish one slab at a time.  If you are purchasing a ready mix, you should have at least two others helping you and be on the same page as to what steps you are taking.

  4. if this is a bag pour your in for some hard work and a very very long day.

typically you will have 30 minutes working time but this is depended on how it is mixed, whether it has heat(lime) added or not.

For something this thick you should do in sections if you are bagging it the direction are on the bag.

If you ordered a truck work fast with a helper once you have it poured and skimmed with a 2x4 then wait 30 minutes before sweeping it with broom and edging.

Wait 24 hours to remove forms.
