How much time do you spend with your partner?

I seem to be losing mine to the abyss of computer/p**n land....

As much time as we got. If we are free from works or other things then we prefer to be with each other the whole day and night.

as my husband is disabled and i am recovering from cancer we spend 24/7 with each other and it works because we are a very close couple.

Most evenings when we get in from work, he's going to University in September so will probably be seeing him a bit less.

When I get married it will be with someone with whom us spending time together would always be a good thing. Thus, I would pick somone for a husband with whom I had a lot in common with so spending time together would be a treat. I am going as far as trying to find someone that does similar work to what I do.

We spend as much time as we can together.  If one of us goes on the computer we actually tell the other one what we are doing ie; downloading pictures of a trip we took or checking E-mail quickly, usually no more then 10 or 15 minutes in a day that we are home together.

Oh I know how you feel, and so does my best mate, I used to spend a lot of time in the evening with my hubby, now when he is not working he is in the PC room, and I don't see him unless I go in there.  Tried everything mate, nothing works, so now when he goes in there I go out, I do a class, or go for a walk, I am not sitting in rotting in the house in summer!

When I was with my now ex-wife, I used to be with her, whenever we are together.  That should be around 8 to 10 hours daily. and all day sunday.

Don't worry, do something inside the computer, so that it goes bonkers.  Do it in such a way that your husband does not suspect you.

If you have some basic idea of repairing, then you can easily disable the system or the adsl wire which connects the computer.

We have no much time as we meet in the evening  stay have dinnerafter 3hrs to bed en he get up early as i also leave to work,mainely on Sundays

Oh wow, that sucks. Well, I spend almost every waking moment with mine, except when we are at work or using the bathroom lol! Sometimes it gets a little too much, and I wish I still had more of my own social time, but I would rather be with him "too much" than too little!

I guess it's just a matter of balancing your wants and needs!

Now, it sounds like maybe it is time to start talking to him about the amount of time he spends on the internet. Sounds like you need to get him to start spending more time with you before it becomes an issue you become very bitter over, and eventually becomes unfixable!

I spend a lot, although we are newly married so I think that comes with the territory.

The computer thing is ok if in moderation, the p**n thing is not acceptable, if he has to get his kicks elsewhere in any form then you need to discuss it (unless you're happy about it). He sounds like he quite likes the fantasy other than the reality, is this how you want to spend YOUR life with him?
