How much time do you usually spend on writing a paper?

It really depends on the paper topic. For lengthy research papers (15+ pages double-spaced, 12 pt font), the entire process from reading sources to drafting to the finished product would take me about a month if I work steadily. But for other papers I usually spend a good week outlining and drafting.

If you have to look up quotes, write up a 10 pg. paper, and do a very good job on it, it might take up to a whole day to two days (that's including research) in university/ college.  However, in high school it should take you up to two to three hours to do an "A" paper.
