How much time does 1gigabyte (gb) get you like on a camcorder? Also what does 2 gb and so on?

It all depends on your settings, application & camera. You didn't give enough info to answer your question properly.

HOWEVER, you can use ME as an example...

I download my Sony camcorder with Premier Pro 1.5 (older editing software & camera).

I get about 5 minutes for 1GB (with my current settings, but I try to get pro-like quality)

Which camcorder with flash memory for you want? Go to that manufacturer's web site, and generally in the support area, you can download the camcorder's manual. In the manual there is  typically a table that has the memory size and the amount that can be recorded to it - and the quality of the video selected.
