  1. It takes 6 hours by train. You can find the info on www.indianrailways.gov.in. By bus it takes around 9 hours.


  2. It takes about six hours by Intercity express.  Buses will take about 8 to 10 hours depending on traffic conditions.  You have two choices of route.  1. Hosur, Mettur, Erode Coimbatore.  2. Mysore, Chamrajnagar, Sathyamangalam, Coimbatore.  The second is a ghat road but scenic.
