  1. Crossing the state line from Arizona to New Mexico, about 10 seconds.

  2. like, a couple hours.

  3. Depends upon where you start.  If you start at the eastern Arizona state line, takes only a second to cross into New Mexico.  If you specify specific points like Phoenix to Albuquerque, 468 miles takes about 7-8 hours or longer.  Depends upon how you drive and how often you stop.

  4. Less than one second. Arizona and New Mexico border each other, so obviously if you were in Arizona near the border with New Mexico you would just have to drive over the border.

Check out the following map of two locations - one in Arizona (on Community Road) and one in New Mexico (on West Whetton Road). Driving directions indicate a distance of 0.0 and a drive time of less than 1 minute.

  5. This depends on where you start and end.

The two states share a border, so at the border, you can cross from one to another instantaneously.  On the other hand, if you're traveling from Littlefield, AZ to Jal, NM this will take about 16 hours to drive, not counting pit stops.

I think it will help if you change your question to say "How much time is the drive from ___, AZ to _____, NM?" (Fill in the blanks with the respective cities.)

  6. since they are bordering states, and you are not stating beginning and ending points, you could even walk it in less than 10 seconds, if you are at the border.

here is a map. go for it from there with starting and ending points, google maps or mapquest. have fun

  7. If you go to www.mapquest.com and type in your starting location and your ending location it should tell you. Hope my response helps you out. :)

  8. It all depends on where you start.
