How much time it takes to learn guitar?

J m 21 and never played guitar but j m good at keyboard.

And is there a good link for video guitar tutorials for beginers

There are tons of lessons on line and books.  Just Google.  

As far as "how long it takes"?  Not trying to be a smart aleck here, but I've been playing for 35 years and I'm still learning.  I'm not sure there is a point where you can say "OK, now I know how to play guitar".

I have heard guys who had  only been playing a few days. They thought they knew it all, and were trying to get on American Idol and thought that the talent agents should find them.

I've been playing professionally for over 50 years and I still consider that I am learning... You can learn the basics in about a year but after that it takes a lifetime to learn how to play a guitar
