..say a lane of 120m by 10 m. both ends open. Multi storied shopping

malls on both sides. On average 25000 people visit these buildings for

shopping. the road is full of people walking on opposite directions. My question, how much time it would take to evacuate them safely in case of fire in one of the buildings. There is a possibility that fire may spread to the adjacent building(s) also due to its proxmity. is there any standard model to study human behaviour in this situation. Is there any formula to find out the number of human beings that can be evacuated per minute or second with reference to the dimension of the escape route? I request somebody to provide a valuable reply to this .
