And the Environment section of Yahoo! Answers in particular. I mean, is it THAT important to obsess about a single public interest issue while exchanging a Best Answer award back and forth with another person for the purpose of ratcheting up my points tally?

And by the way......what do I do with these points, can I trade them in for valuable prizes someday?

  1. Sometimes I think that some of the regulars here do exactly what you are describing, like a bunch of oldtimers sitting on a porch whittling all day and telling each other how smart they are.

  2. The points are only worth what they're worth to you.

You ask your question as if being at the computer is the default condition.  Perhaps that indicates that, yes, you do need to spend time away from the computer.  I come and go from Answers from time to time, and it's refreshing after a break, but also refreshing to leave it alone for several weeks.

  3. Spend your time with your computer in weekends and holidays don't spend time with it everyday it is a waste of electricity and money and time.

  4. You should be Away at least 6-8 hrs for sleeping.

You can trade the points in the future against allowed CO2 emissions credits :)

  5. I wonder the same thing. I just do this when I absolutly have nothing better to do.

  6. Be on the computer maximum 1.5 hours. It will save a lot of energy, and money. Do something useful, instead of spending your time on Yahoo! Answers if it bothers you so much.

  7. Last one first...WHO KNOWS?

First one last...AS MUCH AS YOU CAN.
