  1. Ah, but this is a trick question. She indicated the car would be traveling at an average speed of 5, NOT 5mph.

WE must be smart enough to figure out the correct units for each letter choice.

At 5 quantities each of our newly derived speed/time units, we have:

    A) 13.82857143

    B) 13.44444444

    C) 11.52380952

    D) 11

  2. At 5mph it will take you app 21 hours. Good Luck and God Bless

  3. None of the above. Driving 605 miles at 5MPH would take 121 hours. 121 x 5 = 605

  4. Did you mean "55 miles per hour"?  You could walk 5 miles an hour but it would take you over 5 days at that rate.

If you mean 55, it would take 11 hours (provided you didn't take any bathroom breaks or stop for gasoline fill-up).  605 miles divided by 55miles/hour = 11 hours.  Basic math.

  5. An average speed of 5 what? if it's mph I'd allow about three months as you'd probably be arrested for creating a bottleneck! Is it a pedal car?

  6. The correct answer is:   e). None of the above.  If the car is only going five miles per hour and you're traveling six hundred five miles, the trip is going to take you  a hundred twenty one hours!  (It would be quicker to walk!) Simple arithmetic; divide the mileage by the speed.  Good luck!
