  1. The gratuity guidelines for most cruise line SUGGEST a gratuity of about $.75 per day per passenger.  That may not sound like much but considering that the typical dining room for dinner will hold 500 to 600 people or more each of two dinner seatings, that a hefty chunk of change.  And remember its the waiter who does all of the work and gets a bigger gratuity.

Most cruise lines now don't even break down the gratuiry by staff person any more; they just add $10 a day to your tab for gratuities.

That said, you can if you want give more to the MaitreD and any of the other people on ship who serve you.

  2. If you're cheap, 300 dollars.

  3. give them your room for the rest of the trip

Give about 1/8th of what your meal cost

    5 bucks is easy

If you were in the same vote, how much would be fair?

  4. you can physically give anything you want  many cruiselines I've gone on the tips are given all at once at the beginning or end of the trip and some were included in the price of the trip. but if you feel like tipping them a penny or a million bucks a day  its your choice as long as you have the money

  5. i dont know based on service and how much you guys eat like the total cost or sometihg like if you eat something that is a value of 30.00 then pay something like 2.50- 5.00 i unno,,,,
