How much tips should I pay the movers? 15%?

If the moving cost is $1500, we talk about $225 tips. For a 3-man team, would $30 per person do it?

15% is standard and considered the minimum.  If you, however, feel that they did their job better than the standard requirement, you should consider tipping more than 15%, perhaps 18%.  Moving furniture is not an easy job.  Nevertheless, cudos on realizing that tipping should be a part of any such payment.  I'm sure that they will be happy with the 15% because some customers do not give anything.

I have never heard of tipping movers.  All I have ever done is supply them with drinks and, in one case, a pizza.
