I am an independent contractor and I currently take pictures of real estate and I design websites. I have a customer who wants me to list his home on a different real estate website and link it to his website. How much should I charge him to do this? Thanks

  1. between of 400 to 600$ are prices .

  2. .    You have to call the Department of Real Estate first.  Once you offer his home on your website, you are selling real estate.  Probably they will tell you 2 tiny rules about the "listing".  If you follow the rules , you are fine.  If you don't follow the rules, you will get a Cease and Desist Order. The newspaper had an article about this in Arizona.

If you are successful, people might pay you $1,000 to get their home sold quickly.

  3. I would suggest you charge an hourly rate depending on how many websites he wants you to list it on.  Or if you want to do a firm quote, figure out how many hours it is going to take to list and link this property, then apply your hourly rate.   Many websites pick up information from other sites, for instance once you put it in Trulia, it will most likely be picked up by other sites, so you may not need to jettison it out all over the 'net.
