  1. I've had many leopard geckos and i would say two or three coated in calcium every other day or so

    hope i helped:)

  2. If they're babies feed them 2 small crickets a day. - If they do not eat them, just take them out of their cage so that they crickets don't annoy/hurt the little geckos.

Then every other day coat them in calcium/leopard gecko vitamins.

You can switch the calcium and vitamins out ever other feeding so that your baby gets the right amount of everything.

Good luck with your little geckos!

It's quite obvious you're excited about getting them!!

  3. I see you are excited about your new pets, and want to learn to take care of them.  I think you ought to go to the library and check out a book on gecko care.  Better yet, if you can afford it, buy one so you always have it for reference.

Also, keep in mind that all pets take money to care for.  To properly set up a terrarium complete with reptile heating pad, UV light, basking lamp, water dish, substrate, hiding places and climbing places, will probably cost about $100-125 new.  Also, you will need to purchase new basking bulbs as they burn out (about every 6 months) at around $8 each, and new UV bulbs (once a year) at $25 each.  You will probably spend $2-3 a week on crickets or worms.

Also, if you want to socialize your geckos, you will need to take them out of their terrarium and carefully handle them daily (unless they're shedding).

To get the most out of your pets, it's important to understand them and have the proper habitat set up for them, preferably before you bring them home.
