How much to fix a broken steering lock?

I've got an 08 Honda Fireblade. Recently someone decided they would attempt to steal it and in doing so some how smashed the steering lock casing hidden just under the top yoke meaning that the steering lock is now useless. The damage doesent look too severe but i'd like to know if aanyone else has suffered this and of how much it could potentially cost to fix. Cheers.

A Honda dealer is your best option mate.

you ll have to remove the top yolk and remove the old lock...they are bolted in using ''shear bolts'' which at a certain torque snap of the heads leaving it almost imposable to remove..sometimes a tap with a screwdriver/pin punch at an angle will remove them failing that a drill will take the heads off,once the lock is out remove whats left with pliers.

new lockabout £60 from the dealers.
