i usually asked for about 5.50 to 6 dollars...it depends on how many children and if he or she has help (such as a friend who's agreed to watch the kids with him or her).

depends on if you know them well or not, if you know them give 6-10 dollars if you dont know them so well 6-8 dollars

also put into consideration they probably dont want to be there, so dont be a cheapo and give them a nice pay, but not too much, its not like they cleaned your house and turned your kid into an angel.
